This couch is a beautiful piece with great bones and original spring construction, but it's definitely a project. It would be perfect for:
• Upholstery Enthusiasts: If you love vintage furniture and want a rewarding restoration project, this is it! The frame and original spring system are intact.
• Crafters/Scrappers: If you're looking for quality materials, the sofa can easily be disassembled for scrap metal (springs) and good, solid wood from the frame.
Condition Details:
• The frame and original spring construction are solid. (See photos of the exposed underside!)
• One internal wooden support bracket is broken. The couch is still functional, but this bracket would need to be replaced for optimal long-term use.
• Cushions need significant work. The padding inside needs to be rebuilt, and the cushion zippers need to be fixed or replaced.
• The gold velvet upholstery is aged and worn, showing its history.

Must be able to pick up from the Franklinton neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio. This is a heavy item and will require at least two people and a truck or large van for transport.
