Position Overview
We’re hiring a Pool Service Technician to help maintain and service residential pools throughout the season.
This role is best suited for someone who already has hands-on experience with pool and spa maintenance and is comfortable handling routine cleanings and basic service tasks independently.

Pay & Incentives
$20-30/hour base pay based on experience level
Performance bonus up to $4-7/hour as incentives on monthly targets on KPIs that will be set at the beginning of each quarter
KPIs:
Revenue managed per route
Efficiency and completion times
Quality of work / callbacks
Total revenue earned per month
Number of customers retained
Number of leads converted
Chemicals and upgrades sold
Overtime opportunities during peak season
Clear path to higher-paying roles (Senior Tech, Route Manager)
Schedule
Full-time (seasonal with future opportunities for long-term role)
Typical hours: a fixed window of 5 to 10 hours between: 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM (can vary with workload)
Responsibilities
Clean and maintain residential pools and spas (skimming, brushing, vacuuming)
Test and balance water chemistry accurately
Add chemicals safely and according to needs of the pool and exercise best judgement to deliver best in class results, or to check with the President of NEAT Pools when in doubt
Maintain highest safety standards for yourselves, customers and team members
Perform routine service visits independently
Inspect pool equipment and report issues
Adhere as closely as possible to standard hours per type of work as determined by NEAT Pools
Pool openings and closings
Keep service routes organized and on schedule
Replace / Service select simple plumbing or other miscellaneous equipment
Communicate clearly with team and management
Communicate clearly and professionally with leads and customers
Maintain a clean, professional appearance on job sites
Responsible for safety and custody of all tools, equipment, chemicals, vehicles, packaging, and other supplies
What We’re Looking For
Prior experience with pool and/or spa maintenance, of at least 2 years
Ability to independently complete standard cleanings and service visits
Strong work ethic and reliability (this is big for us)
Comfortable working outdoors in heat and varying weather
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stay active throughout the day
Attention to detail and willingness to improve
Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Valid driver’s license with ability to drive a pick up truck or cargo van
