Under limited supervision, the Field Supervisor is responsible for managing the onsite effort and field work on a project, ensuring that company policies and procedures are met in regard to safety, scheduling budget, quality, and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for leading, directing, and coordinating the day-to-day field activities of the project including subcontractor management, project cost controls, and implementation of project schedule
• Manage a team of subcontractors which includes work schedules, project progress, constructability review and logistics.
• Effective communication for managing a construction project including RFI generation and management, email and leading meetings
• Ensure that the construction project complies with all safety and building regulations and follows the requirements of the authority having jurisdiction. This includes managing the permit and inspection process and adherence to all building code compliance
• Lead enforcement in adhering to OSHA and the company’s safety policies to ensure a safe work environment
• Identify project risk factors, then manage and mitigate them to ensure the construction project is completed on time and budget
• Assist the Project manager in creating cost estimates for specific project needs
• Assists with the bidding, awarding, and procurement of subcontractors and suppliers
• Collaborate with clients, architects/engineers, developers and other construction management personnel to keep the project on budget and schedule
• Coordinate materials and equipment delivery with vendors and suppliers
• Implement management techniques that are cost-effective and efficient
REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 4 years of construction field experience.
• Background in Retail or Residential construction is a benefit
• 30 Hours OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment.
• In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations.
• Advanced ability to read building blueprints and ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Understanding construction equipment, including safe operating practices and signs of maintenance issues.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Detail focused and results driven.
• Effective computer skills such as Procore, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Etc.

• Travel to the various locations of development projects required.
