Position Overview

The Commercial Carpenter will perform a wide range of commercial carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, doors and hardware, finish work, and interior build-outs. Candidates must be comfortable working independently or as part of a crew in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Metal and wood stud framing
• Drywall hanging and finishing
• Installation of doors, frames, and hardware
• Suspended ceilings and grid systems
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings
• Accurate layout and measurement
• Installation of casework, trim, and finish carpentry components
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite in accordance with OSHA standards
• Meet project timelines and productivity expectations

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial carpentry experience required
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on feet for extended periods
• OSHA 10 preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Consistent attendance and strong work ethic
