This is not your standard Locking C-clamp:
1. The release trigger operates in reverse of the traditional direction for one-handed use, improved ergonomics, grip, and speed, and greater safety preventing pinched fingers and dropped tools.
2. There is no adjustment screw in the handle because it has an automatic self-adjusting tension screw internally. It is an easy to use "set it and forget it" system that is significantly less time consuming versus standard locking C-clamp
3. The enhanced automatic mechanism allows you to grip items of varying thicknesses without adjustment. A traditional locking C-clamp would require you to adjust the handle screw every single time you tighten the grip.
