Here’s the scoop about the actual position – it is 100% service desk and everything that entails.  Some days it could be password resets and printer driver installations.  Other days it will be exploring event logs and windows registry to do in depth diagnosis on recurring or major issues.  You truly never know what each day will bring.  This is a job where you can learn something new every single day if you are willing to put forth the effort.  In this role, you will be working side by side with a compact team of service desk analysts who love to support our restaurant operations and franchisee business teammates - from the cashier/server/manager at the restaurant level, all the way up to the CEO in our corporate offices. 

Skills and Experience needed:

  • Required
    • 3+ years’ experience in a service desk / support environment
    • Strong grasp of hardware, software, operating systems and networking and ability to troubleshoot them
    • Professional and polished verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to maintain patience and practice courtesy in highly stressful situations
    • Flexibility to work a schedule of ~45 hours a week, including a regular rotation of overnight or weekend on call hours to cover restaurant support 24/7
  • HIGHLY preferred
    • Aloha POS experience – including configuration and troubleshooting POS, EDC, CFC, ATO, etc…
    • Strong working knowledge of hardware and software used in restaurant POS environment including POS application, credit cards, network, kitchen video
