These are in great shape, very sturdy, and very classy. I've only worn them a few times, and it looked like the previous owner didn't wear them much either. There is a little bit of smudging in places but nothing that can't be buffed out with shoe polish. I wiped them off with a couple of different textured dry rags, but I didn't polish them.
There's nothing wrong with these shoes. I've just settled on a spiked shoe that I like for all conditions.
The only drawback is that there are no insoles. I use custom insoles, so I removed the factory insoles, as I do with all my shoes, but I apparently lost them. This shouldn't be a big deal. You can find comfortable insoles for relatively inexpensive prices. Problem solved!
