This is a used under desk treadmill that comes with a desktop console. Console comes with a safety key tether that can be attached to clothing. If the safety key is pulled from the console the treadmill will immediately stop. You do not have to wear the tether for the treadmill to operate. Treadmill has adjustment feet for leveling. Because this is an under desk treadmill, it does not have any elevation and the speed max is 4 mph as the treadmill is meant for walking. Walking at 4.0 mph is quite rapid. I have used this for about three years with a stand-up desk. I did not use a mat under it, just put it right onto carpet and it worked fine. Never had any issues or problems. Works as it should. This is a good quality, heavier duty treadmill, not a flimsy item. Nice long belt for a comfortable stride. Owner's manual included.
