Possibility of dock permit from seller in Thornport bay / canal (now with winter low water and dredging scheduled in SE Buckeye Lake for years: the State of Ohio recently strengthened the dam in Licking County and finished that major project). Ohio may assert permits for submerged land in Thornport, but Thornport a privately built pioneer canal and canal town. Any shore access easement, permit, or small acreage nearby on water possible for separate purchase.

There are two bridges in Thornport, the southernmost bridge somewhat low (tops need to be pulled down on pontoon boats). Water low in winter. Canal water is 2-3' deep, with muddy parts. Private docks for yearly rent elsewhere in area from third parties.

Buy now before developers gentrify this private, pioneer area next to the SE corner of the lake, to get best pricing while you plan for your lake area home. Pay with mortgage or on payment plan. State of Ohio has announced intention to create new boat ramp / park site northeast of Thornport and in SE corner of lake, adjoining the canal into Thornport and the southeast corner of the lake. New 3-county policy group Buckeye Lake 2036 and governments are actively proposing design plans for this sleepy corner of Buckeye Lake.
