Love this car but my family has outgrown it.
-less than 170k
-great on gas
Rust on driver side rear at the bottom.
Needs ac clutch repaired it’s locked up (read below)
Still a daily driver- ac clutch is locked up so it burns the belt off. So we bypassed it with a shorter belt and it runs fine. The IMA “the hybrid part of the car” (acts as the alternator and such) won’t charge with the ac compressor/clutch locked up. It will only charge to 1-2 bars with a short belt on.
The IMA controls the power to the radio and the key fob lock and unlock where the ima battery charge is so low in order to maintain the regular car battery up front from dying (again acts as alternator= charges battery up front like a standard car) the radio and key fob do not have power. However they both work when the ima is able to fully charge with the clutch being fixed.
This car DOES HAVE NAVIGATION built into the radio
Heat works great!
This car can be driven even if the cars ima switch was turned to off. Just need to keep an eye on the front battery’s charge
