This is a 1970 Volvo P1800 sport coupe , made in Sweden. This model year is the first with the large engine and fuel injection , also offered for the first time with this model is 4 wheel disc brakes. I have owned the car for 9 years and it has not been running or driven in 7 years . I parked it with the intention of restoring the car completely but have decided not to as I have too many projects . The car is in overall complete condition and I was going to change the color of the interior to black which I will include with the car ...see photos. It was originally an Arizona car , it does have some typical rust for a car that is over 50 years old but there is no rust in any major areas or suspension areas etc....some in the rockers etc and a little in the front floor boards , but nothing major . The body is overall straight , the paint is oxidized ; the hood , trunk , doors and windows open and close well . It would make a great candidate for a winter project , restoration for the right person . These cars are becoming very collectible and are getting rarer and harder to find ; most very nice one's are going for $35,000 and up. The title is in my name.
I do have an extra 1971 Volvo P1800 parts car still with engine and transmission ; it has the rare Volvo factory air conditioning unit in dash and compressor etc...still on the engine that I will also sell for additional cost if interested.
