Toadstool Shadow is a family-friendly folk band out of Chillicothe, Ohio. We play mostly original folk music that is simultaneously silly, serious, and surreal. We generally play festivals during the day, not bars at night. We generally only gig from April through October. The band will gross about $15k this year and aims to do more next year. For the 2026 festival season, we're looking for a good upright bassist (or at least acoustic bassist) who sings both lead and harmony. It's a good gig with honorable people. We're playing the Ohio Renaissance Festival right now and will focus on playing renaissance/medieval/pirate/Viking festival in 2026. The band is Toadstool Shadow at www.toadstoolshadow.com.
