Vintage 1959 Gibson Les Paul Junior Cherry DC - $6,500

This is an awesome Junior, but I fell into a 4-digit ‘58 Junior shortly after acquiring this. I don’t need both. Here’s a chance to own a ‘59 for a fraction of the price. P-90, pots, tuners, pickguard, and studs are original. Bridge is a repro. Brazilian rosewood board. Now for the part that makes it affordable. This was owned by a popular guitarist that plays Juniors a lot and was toured. The headstock suffered a couple breaks and a new headstock had to be grafted back on. The same Serial was used and a Stinger was added. You can see the scarf joints. It was extremely well done. Wouldn’t be able to tell if there weren’t scarf joints. The guitar comes with the original Headstock that broke off for verification. Of course the neck was refinished. Body is original finish. Local pickup.
