We have an inherited spinet piano that looks fine externally but is in very poor internal condition. Our piano tuner said it would not be worth the cost or even guaranteed to be successful to attempt to tune/restore it. It would be good for an art piece or stage prop, but isn't ever going to be playable (unless you're a hobbyist piano restorer?). Free to anyone who will arrange pickup!
