This is the model made famous by John Lennon and George Harrison of the Beatles.
This guitar features sloped shoulders, a solid spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, a rosewood fingerboard, all features similar to a Gibson J-45. Additionally it has a P-100 humbucker, with 1 volume knob and 1 tone knob.
Built with better materials and construction than the older model as it has solid mahogany back and sides instead of the plywood construction of the older model. It has scalloped X- bracing instead of ladder bracing. Acoustically this model sounds much better. The stacked humbucker pickup is superior to the one from the original run.
This guitar is in excellent condition with minor pick marks. Comes in its original blue-lined Gibson hard case also in excellent condition. Very minor fret wear. The action is good and very enjoyable to play.
