This is a very rare Motengator Power Amplifier, solid state, from the early 70's. This belonged to a friend of mine who recently passed away and I purchased his inventory.

It was difficult to find much info about this online, but appears to be a custom unit that was made in very small runs, possibly in conjunction with Bob Heil. I did find an article that said Dave West was making guitar amplifiers for Grand Funk during this time period, and they also went by the Motengator name.

Here is all I could find online:
"They are Motengator Amps. Dave West's solid-state project after the West tube amps. Grand Funk Railroad used "West" amps. They were tube amps. Very loud! I believe they were built by a fellow (or small company) in Michigan"

Other than that, I really don't know much else about this piece.
