Brand new Allparts Fender Licensed Precision Bass neck made in Japan, 1 and 5/8 inch wide nut. 1/8th narrower than a P neck and 1/8th wider than a J neck.
WD custom cut tort pickguard with a J neck pickup rout.
Gotoh made in Japan vintage reverse turn tuners. Fender vintage all thread saddle bridge.
CTS pots. Switchcraft jack. Bourns blend pot. Controls are Volume, Blend, Tone. V-B-T
Bass weighs 8 lbs 10 oz on shipping scales.
Condition is excellent. About 9.7 out of 10.
Two control cavity covers. One black. The other stained natural wood.
Included is a correct size Fender Precision Bass water slide decal for the headstock, just like the originals. If wanted.
Pickups are vintage style AlNiCo 5 magnets. Bridge pickup is a new Made in Japan Gotoh 7k ohms. Neck pickup is either USA or Japan 7.4k ohm. Both pickups are reverse wound, reverse polarity just like a Fender Jazz Bass. So, when both pickup are on full, it is hum cancelling.
This bass was professionally assembled and is in excellent alignment, neck to the body, truss rod adjustment, pickup height, intonation and string height action. Currently has Fender flat wound strings.
Many bass players love the Jazz Bass but don't like the body. Other bass players love the Precision Bass but wish it had J. Bass pickups. Here it is! A wonderful bass! Very high quality.
