This is my 2005 Epiphone SG Standard Korean Custom Shop. Not many Epiphone SG’s came out of Korea, so these aren’t too common. The custom shop model is especially nice and sounds better than a Gibson SG special. Recently set up, newer strings, fret life is around 90%, medium-thin neck profile, low action with no buzzing, and there are zero real issues to report. Guitar is awesome and I wish I didn’t have to sell it.
- Gotoh aluminum tailpiece to help capture that early 60’s bite. Cost me $25
- Grover 18:1 tuners. Cost me $55
Guitar did have 2 small chips on the front of the body in the clear coat by the previous owner but they were filled with poly. It’s not a perfect job but it’s smooth, shiny, and the chips are covered. Also on the back, strap button was moved to the top horn to help prevent SG neck drop and so it’s more natural when putting the strap over your shoulder. You could relocate it if you wanted but I don’t see why you would. Comes with gig bag as well as velvet strap with hand sewn in chrome buckle as seen in photos.
No trades at this time. Need money for bills unfortunately, which is why this has to go. Also feel free to make me an offer but lowballs will not be entertained. Thanks!!
