Job Purpose:
Maintain production and quality by ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and keep systems running smoothly in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems using precision measuring and testing instruments
• Dismantle and repair defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Adjust and align mechanical components using hand tools and precision instruments
• Monitor and reduce downtime through proactive maintenance and communication with production teams
• Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; verify stock levels and orders
• Document maintenance activities and communicate across shifts
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
Qualifications
• 3+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read diagrams, manuals, and engineering specifications
• Skilled with power tools, precision instruments, and fabrication equipment
• Attention to detail, flexibility, and commitment to safety
