SafeSite Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Safety Coordinator to support a high-profile data center construction project. The ideal candidate will have strong construction safety experience, preferably on large-scale or mission-critical projects (data centers highly preferred). This is a hands-on, field-based role responsible for enforcing safety compliance, supporting crews, and ensuring all site operations meet OSHA and client safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with OSHA, company, and client safety standards
Conduct daily safety walks, inspections, and hazard assessments
Enforce proper use of PPE, fall protection, LOTO, and other critical safety controls
Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and weekly safety meetings
Identify and correct unsafe behaviors and conditions immediately
Maintain safety documentation, reports, and incident logs
Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions
Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and client safety teams
Ensure all personnel follow site-specific safety plans and procedures
Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example on-site
Required Qualifications
OSHA 30 required (OSHA 10 minimum)
OSHA 500 or 510 strongly preferred
Minimum 3+ years of construction safety experience
Data center, industrial, or large commercial construction experience preferred
Strong knowledge of fall protection, rigging, heavy equipment safety, and electrical safety
Ability to confidently address and correct safety violations in the field
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to work onsite full-time and adapt to changing project needs
Preferred Certifications (Not Required but a Plus)
CHST, ASP, or CSP
First Aid/CPR Certification
EM 385 or NFPA 70E knowledge
Work Environment
Active construction site (indoor/outdoor)
Must be comfortable walking the site for extended periods
PPE required at all times
