We are looking for a dependable, experienced Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair a fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment. If you take pride in your work, can diagnose problems efficiently, and want consistent work with room to grow, we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair diesel engines
* Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections
* Repair brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, hydraulic, and air systems
* Troubleshoot engine performance issues
* Complete repairs accurately and safely
* Keep maintenance records and communicate repair needs
Qualifications
* Experience working on Class 7 and Class 8 trucks (Mack, Freightliner, CAT, Cummins, Detroit, etc.)
* Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems
* Own basic hand tools (preferred)
* Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
* Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
