Old fencing equipment. Sword still has padding in the handle. Slight dent in the hand guard. Blade says "Made in France, G.S., and 5" on one side. On the other side, there is a maker's mark stamped in near the hilt that says PR. According to research, "PR" mark on antique French fencing foils points to the esteemed French manufacturer, Maison Prieur. Founded in 1788, the company has a long history of producing high-quality fencing equipment. This is likely from around the 1920's. There are no markings on the mask.
