I am selling my Yanmar C10R tracked dumper (crawler carrier, crawler dumper). It has served me well, but I don't get much use out of it anymore and I'd like to see it go to a good home.
I had no idea that anything like this existed until I found this one for sale several years ago. In short, the machine can transport and dump out more than its own weight in dirt, rock, or other material through tight spaces (only about 3' wide) and travel up/down ridiculously steep slopes over even very difficult or muddy terrain. The machine and engine were both built in Japan and the construction is of high quality. No Chinese junk here...
The driving controls are like a dozer (forward/backward hydrostatic pedal, clutch/brake steering) and are really easy to understand/use. Dump is with a single powerful ram and there is power-down, as well. The dump gate opens automatically once the bed reaches a certain angle. The bed dumps all the way to 60°, so even muddy/sticky material makes it out. The sides fold down so that you can carry oversize items; this carrier would be very handy for remote construction sites.
The machine only has ~990 hours on it and, yes, the hour meter works. It is powered by a Yanmar diesel engine and sips fuel. I have added work lights, a 2500-lb winch, and a large battery.
I have recently replaced the engine oil and the fuel filter/petcock. Grease points have been greased regularly. The rubber tracks have been replaced within the last couple hundred machine hours, so they are in good shape. The only issue I can think of with the unit right now is that the drive sprocket seals leak a bit.
