Schedule:
Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Every 3rd Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
This position may lead to additional hours in the future based on agency needs and performance.
Position Summary
The Clinical Support Assistant supports daily testing and training services operations by assisting with specimen collection, screening procedures, and administrative clinical tasks. This role requires professionalism, strong reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to interact respectfully with individuals receiving services. Prior home care or support services experience is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtain and properly handle urine specimens in accordance with agency policies and procedures
Obtain fingerprints following established protocols
Ensure accurate documentation and confidentiality of all client information
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant testing and training environment
Provide respectful, professional interaction with individuals receiving services
Follow all applicable state regulations, agency policies, and safety procedures
Assist with basic administrative and clinical support duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or GED preferred
Home care or direct support experience required
Experience leading or managing a small group preferred
Reliable, dependable, and punctual
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable transportation required
Must be able to pass a background check
Physical & Work Requirements:
Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the shift
Ability to follow infection control and safety practices
Comfortable performing specimen collection and screening procedures
