Beekeeping: For those who want a Long-Langstroth hive without spending $5-600+.

~46" long; capacity ~32 frames - Takes standard Langstroth deep frames (not included). 2 end entrances - 1 at each end.

Materials: Ends: 3/4" plywood. Sides: 3/8" plywood in; cedar siding out - foam insulation between inside and outside layers. Cover is plywood on 1x pine frame (we put a sheet of metal over our covers). Cover lifts/ slides for easy access - is not hinged. Legs are 2x pine/ poplar/ oak. Painted/ varnished outside; landing board is raw wood.

Dimensions: Height ~ 33"; Length: 46" outside; ~44” inside - 44" long / 1.375”/ frame = ~32 frame capacity. Uses standard Langstroth deep frames which are 19” wide x 9 1/4" deep x 1 3/8” thick. Box inside is 10” deep. Solid bottom - not screened.
