Idaho Pasture Pigs. IPP . He was born on 8-30- 2023. Very Friendly. The Idaho pasture pig is a true homesteading pig. They have an upturned nose so they don't root like a typical pig. They can live on pasture all year round with a shelter. No heat lamps required. We feed as much grass/ hay that they want to eat and only 5 pounds a day of grain. (these are only getting about 1 1/2 pounds of grain twice a day. ). The hay / grass and grain gives a great marbling and flavor.
Breeding lines are: Sam/ RedRock. if you need more information for figuring COI with your gilt/ sow please let me know.
Location is Huntsville Ohio. If you put zip code 43324 in any driving map it will give you a great idea of Drive time.
