Farrow to Finish Operation: HERITAGE PASTURED FREEZER PORK!
Have 2 pigs left that are needing reservations for someone’s Freezer Camp.
Currently don’t have slots booked, as I don’t have freezer space if someone backs out.
These pigs were all born and raised right here on the farm. These are NOT auction pigs. Born right on pasture and no farrowing crates. No medications, growth additives etc.
These pigs are feed a high quality non-gmo feed, fruits/veggies, pasture, and hay when the pasture is low.
Drinkers and wallows are clean and filled daily(most days multiple times).
Given room to run/play, root, and live their best lives.
Current Price: $3.90 a pound hanging weight, plus butcher/processing fees. Butcher fees are paid to the processor upon pickup.
There’s a $260 minimum butcher fee per pig.
Specialty cuts, boneless cuts, and fewer cuts per package (2 vs 4 chops) cost extra.
If interested in keeping the lard, they will package it for you. You can also get the leaf lard separate from the rest.
The butcher can even do a “kill and hang” if you’d like to save some money and would like a little DIY.
Half or a whole pig too much? Go in with a family member or friend.
