We have an OG pressing of Billy Joel’s landmark album “The Stranger” . It's in super nice shape and would be a welcome addition to any classic rock collection. This album spent 17 weeks in the top 10 Billboard charts in 1978 ... .it was released September 29th 1977. It took a little while to gain some traction but once it did it was burned into the classic rock radio format forever. There is not one bad song on the album and over half of the songs have been concert staples for Billy Joel, and that's saying something with the catalog he has. Bottom-line is if you have read this far you know the deal and it's a must own for any rock LP collector. Please note there is some writing on the cover as seen in the pics, it's not intrusive at all. Also please take notice the original inner sleeve / liner notes / lyric sheet is included and in really nice shape, making this that much more desirable. The record has been Ultrasonically cleaned prior to listing and include a new plastic outer sleeve and a Japanese style inner sleeve. This record has been a regular player in my extensive collection for years, I recently purchased an upgrade copy that is near perfect. This will be the perfect player copy that will NEVER disappoint you at all. If you would like to test drive the copy before buying you are welcome to do so, i have nothing to hide with this record.
