I will buy you a new JVC remote for extra $5 and ship to you; won't guarantee it works but highly confident.
Will work with loud volume (or mute) with my ROKU device remote control, but don't know how to configure up/down button with ROKU. Perhaps you can do it with virtual remote (on smart phone), or figure out configurations, or buy new JVC-compatible remote control.
Huge television. Good deal. about 7-8 years old I'd guess.
