Sony tube-type reel-to-reel tape player/recorder TC-500, two speed. Wasn't used for years, but stored well. The electronics work well, but the controls are scratchy - amp is strong; speakers very good. It runs the reels somewhat slowly - no doubt the rubber rollers need a softening treatment, but the rest of the drive seems OK. Missing a couple rubber feet, the power button ( easily pushed on with finger ), has a few small bangs here and there on fabric, and one of the speaker hinge sides was taken off and missing - easily fabricated. Nice shape, really, for its age, and very restorable. Has a Christmas songs medley tape on it now. Very heavy. ( Photos taken 11/7/2025 - dates are off )
