1987 Ford Bronco II XLT had 100,000 miles when the head gasket went out. I pulled the motor out and had it completely rebuilt. The reverse went out, so I had the transmission rebuilt. The reverse and four-wheel-drive works. A machine shop pulled, rebuilt, and installed the motor and tranny. I had a mechanic replace the brake lines and master cylinder. The body overall is solid, with no rust blistering through. It has a brand-new battery. The paint is original but fading through in places—an excellent vehicle for someone to have a collector's car without breaking the bank. Selling the car for $10,000.
