Very well cared for. I've had it for 8+ years. I bought it with a little over 30,000 miles from Moline Illinois where it was a country club cruiser. Literally still had a sleeve of balls in the trunk spare tire well and merch/papers from the club. I flew out to Moline and drove it home to Columbus. It's been through a few iterations over the years. Mild lower with Eibach springs and RS4 re-pop wheels when I bought it. I refinished those wheels in a dark gun metal and Continental DWS extreme contact tires.
I have loved this care and taken great care of it. Regular high-end oil changes. Always fixed or repaired promptly. All scheduled preventative maintenance has been done throughout the years. Timing chain has been serviced. Most all work has been done by Performance Automotive in Hilliard. They know the car very well and could likely answer questions/validate the condition and care I've given the car. The current alignment was done at Lucore Automotive in Plain City. The car is very low but not a "stance car" how ever a little negative camber is present due to how low it is. Otherwise I had it set up for optimal tire wear not for performance or track or anything like that. That being said this car handles like it's on rails. Really a fun car to drive. A true driver's car. The high compression, high reving V6 engine is really fun with the manual transmission behind it. This is a very rare combination. It's not the quickest or fastest car in the road and it's not intended or trying to be, but it really is a joy to drive. It's just too small for me at this point in my life. It's hard to fit the whole family in it and I can't afford to have multiple cars right now, so it's got to go.
Its not perfect outside. Front bumper is a little out of line and rear bumper has a little hole in it on passenger side. The interior is in really good shape especially considering the age. No rips or tears. A little wear here and there, on the steering wheel and shift knob, etc, but to be expected and is in great shape all things considered. In and out always cleaned and conditioned with Jax Wax products.
Full size spare with original A4 18inch wheel and all season Pirelli
All the original literature
Aftermarket auxiliary input. Via old iPod hub lines. Aka iPod hub would not work anymore.
Everything else works as it should, sunroof, active head lights, center info screen in gauge cluster, CD player/radio/stereo, factory Bluetooth (just for phone calls not media. This is why I have the auxiliary input. I use a different aftermarket Bluetooth via 12 volt port plugged into the auxiliary line)
New HID bulbs installed last year
Factory stereo upgrade
It's an "all the boxes ticked" car
