Three authentic U.S. Army Sergeant Rank Insignia Patches - WWII Era (1939-1945). The patch is a cloth insignia worn on the upper uniform sleeve to indicate enlisted rank.
Each patch has three military rank chevrons (the V-shaped stripes). The Olive-drab background with black stitching indicates U.S. Army WWII-era. Standard wool/twill material.
The loose brown cloth backing is consistent with WWII manufacture. Cotton thread is slightly dull in appearance, not shiny. Matte stitching may be a bit uneven.
Cut by hand, the edges may look irregular. Slight fraying. Each patch appears aged, as shown. Measures approximately 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 inches wide by 3 1/2 by 4 inches high.
