40 mm Bofor anti-aircraft shell casing. These have been used by the US Army and Navy in World War II to the present. The primer has been removed. I had assumed this casing was chrome plated brass, but it holds a magnet. With a little research I found limited information on a small number of the 40mm Bofor cases made of steel.
Inert - does not contain any explosive or propellant. Safe for handling and display.
Asking price for this unusual piece of military memorabilia is $50 or equivelent in US 90% junk silver coin. To be transacted in Delaware, Ohio.
PLEASE include your text number with reply. CraigsList has horrible email communications.
