This is a pair of really old andirons (also known as dogs or firedogs). Perfect for any wood burning fireplace, especially in a historic home. They are in fantastic shape for their age. There are some slight blemishes that should polish out. They are sturdy, heavy and there are no chips, breaks or cracks. They stand 22.5 inches tall. The two brass feet are 8" apart and the leg that extends back into the fireplace is 18 inches long. Brass tray not included.

The andirons came out of a family member's estate. Please look closely at the pictures for condition.
