UWeekly is looking for campus-savvy news and feature writers seeking real-life journalism experience. This is a paid position great for those seriously considering a career in professional writing. While we do take our writing seriously, we have fun with the story topics and get creative with our angles. Writers must be able to attend the mandatory meetings Monday evenings and be available about 8-10 hours a week to work on an article (this includes preliminary research, interviews, and the actual writing). Applicants must be OSU students or otherwise very familiar with what's going on in the classroom and on campus. Owning a camera is preferred, although not required.

If you are interested in university-style investigations, are able to ask thought-provoking questions, and are eager to tell a story - join us at our Monday meetings!
