If you like to run, walk or ride a bike, sidewalks can get you there.
Punta Gorda which was called the #1 place to live by Money Magazine in 1997 & 1998 and its sister city, Port Charlotte, CNN just listed as the Number 1 place to retire in 2009. The area has been completely rebuilt since Hurricane Charley blew through in 2004. Downtown Punta Gorda has blossomed with great new restaurants and shopping. Convenient location just 10 minutes from I-75, so you are just 30 minutes from Ft Myers, 40 minutes to Englewood Gulf beaches.
