If you are a looking for housing either near OSU or in a quiet neighborhood, then you will not find anything better then this Cape Cod home. It's about 1/2 mile from north OSU and the OSU bus runs within 4 blocks of the house. It is a � mile from I-71 and a ten minute trip to downtown. There is a garage as well.

It includes a furnished kitchen, one bathroom, large living room, dining area, and basement for storage if needed. TV/VCR. Washer/Dryer.

The pictures are a little misleading.

The living room is bigger with a staircase at one end and a table and chairs (in addition to the one in the dining area) at the other. There is a TV and VCR. The entire house has a lot of light and exposed brick in kitchen and hallway.

The first bedroom has a large dresser with a mirror and a cedar chest that are not visible. The bed is queen size. The second has a book shelf, bedside cabinet, high quality desk and also a small side room with a lot of light (small but I used to have a little office in there). The bed is full size.

If you stay until spring, there are two cool porches. Also, lots of perennials if you like flowers.

Rental is a one month minimum although longer is preferred. You will split the gas and electric.

My roommate is moving out, and I'm looking for a sublet at our 2br German Village house. The rent is extremely affordable for the area (does not include utilities, but they usually come to $60 - $90 per month per head). The house is at a great location - two blocks away from Cup o Joe and half a mile from a Kroger, and a minute away from the highway exits. The total rent is about $885, so that comes to roughly about $450 a head - it's extremely hard to find a well-kept place this close to 3rd street and be this affordable (and not be a dump).

Parking's easy: I've almost never had a problem (maybe once or twice the last year when there were events in the neighbourhood). The house is slightly old (hardwood floors and beautiful glass mosaic? windows), but has fairly decent amenities. Laundry (a new washer) and dryer are in the ample basement, which doubles up as storage space). The kitchen has an electric range, a dishwasher, a fairly large fridge, and the sink has a food/trash cutter). Heating is gas, though, and the house needs to be heat-sealed; last year we did that with plastic sheeting over the windows, and it saved us a ton of money, so I'm planning on doing the same really soon (maybe sometime this week). Not the biggest closets you'll find, though.

We have a small back-yard & porch, and a grill, so it's great for barbequeing if you're into that sort of thing.

I'm basically looking for someone who is responsible, independent, clean (grad student, working professional, etc.). I'm a fairly easygoing chap, so I tend to get along well with most people. I'm a 28 year old male professional in the design industry: my office is in the neighbourhood, so I tend to be in and out fairly often (and sometimes work late), but I'm not the loud type, and I'd prefer you to be the same. Bonus points if we share interests!

The house has a roomy ground floor, with ample space for gathering. Both bedrooms are upstairs: you would get one of them. My roommate has moved out, so the place is ready for immediate occupation. The landlord has agreed to sign a new 6 month lease till June '10, and we can take it from there. He does have a strict no-pet policy, though.
