Here is what I am looking for::
A room for rent starting January 1st with a roomate(s) near campus that are not homophobic or participate in any radical fundamentalist religions. I practice Wicca and also embrace concepts from other religions as a Unitarian Universalist. I am very accepting of other cultures, but unfortunately Islam turned out to be the equivalent to Snake Handling Backwoods Pentacostalism. As a gay guy, I obviously have always rooted for the "Blue Team" (Hillary, Obama, etc), but after this hair-raising experience, I am seriously thinking Former President Bush actually had the right idea after-all! (god-forbid) LOL

Basically I ended up in this roommate relationship, and turned out to be a household SLAVE to keep every common area spotless to avoid the roaches that are gradually returning to infest the apartment. However no one cares that I am contributing this to the household in addition to my monthly rent. This horrific situation on campus was a whole other world. There is no cleaning done, unless it was done by me. After I expressed concern that I was the only one washing the dishes daily and it was not fair to me, they decided to USE the dishes, then when dirty, HIDE THEM in the CUPBOARDS or the OVEN so that I wouldn’t see them in the sink. That is what drew the insects into the kitchen. I understand they are from a different culture, I am not OCD in any way, but that lifestyle that’s going on here is unbearable, and I’m like the most tolerant peace loving person, and even I couldn’t handle it!

I’m sure you could agree that opening the cupboard to grab a jar of spices, then being greeted by slime-covered spatula’s and bowls dripping with curry grease is WAY over the top. The situation I’m dealing with is not clutter--- it’s utter filth! Then when the "gay" thing came out, I'll put it lightly that things became hostile towards me on an exponential scale!

So basically I am done with this failed Multi-cultural Experiment, and at this time, I am only looking to room with fellow Americans that share the same US values that we hold dear in our constitution, such as equality for Women, Gays, Lesbians, & those with disabilities. This is not what I am getting here. And I am being forced to live here and pay rent but I am not allowed to speak to any of my roommates because I apparently insulted Islam by simply asking questions about it to learn more. There is no interest on the current parties to come to any agreement to respect each others religion, hence, this is not working out.

I need a quiet place to study, and work on my Project Management Certifications, as well as other Information Technology Credentials without being accosted or persecuted because I believe and accept all religions with my Primary being Wicca/Neo-Paganism. Here is what I am looking for::
A room for rent starting January 1st with a roomate(s) near campus that are not homophobic or participate in any radical fundamentalist religions. I practice Wicca and also embrace concepts from other religions as a Unitarian Universalist. I am very accepting of other cultures, but unfortunately Islam turned out to be the equivalent to Snake Handling Backwoods Pentacostalism. As a gay guy, I obviously have always rooted for the "Blue Team" (Hillary, Obama, etc), but after this hair-raising experience, I am seriously thinking Former President Bush actually had the right idea after-all! (god-forbid) LOL

Basically I ended up in this roommate relationship, and turned out to be a household SLAVE to keep every common area spotless to avoid the roaches that are gradually returning to infest the apartment. However no one cares that I am contributing this to the household in addition to my monthly rent. This horrific situation on campus was a whole other world. There is no cleaning done, unless it was done by me. After I expressed concern that I was the only one washing the dishes daily and it was not fair to me, they decided to USE the dishes, then when dirty, HIDE THEM in the CUPBOARDS or the OVEN so that I wouldn’t see them in the sink. That is what drew the insects into the kitchen. I understand they are from a different culture, I am not OCD in any way, but that lifestyle that’s going on here is unbearable, and I’m like the most tolerant peace loving person, and even I couldn’t handle it!

I’m sure you could agree that opening the cupboard to grab a jar of spices, then being greeted by slime-covered spatula’s and bowls dripping with curry grease is WAY over the top. The situation I’m dealing with is not clutter--- it’s utter filth! Then when the "gay" thing came out, I'll put it lightly that things became hostile towards me on an exponential scale!

So basically I am done with this failed multicultural experiment, and at this time, I am only looking to room with fellow Americans that share the same US values that we hold dear in our constitution, such as equality for Women, Gays, Lesbians, & those with disabilities. This is not what I am getting here. And I am being forced to live here and pay rent but I am not allowed to speak to any of my roommates because I apparently insulted Islam by simply asking questions about it to learn more. There is no interest on the current parties to come to any agreement to respect each others religion, hence, this is not working out.

I need a quiet place to study, and work on my Project Management Certifications, as well as other Information Technology Credentials without being accosted or persecuted because I believe and accept all religions with my Primary being Wicca/Neo-Paganism. WHERE:

A single-family house in Westerville, near County Line and Spring.

The rent includes all utilities and high speed. It is a newly remodeled 5 bedroom 2.5 bath house in a nice upscale neighborhood. The room can be furnished or unfurnished, whichever you prefer.

There is plenty of space for your stuff, and a washer and dryer. The place was completely gutted and rebuilt with all new windows, walls, doors, and light fixtures. The counter tops in the kitchen and baths are all marble. The kitchen appliances and dish washer are top of the line. We also have gym equipment including Olympic free-weights, tread mill, etc.

The kitchen and entrance hall have hardwood floors. The library sports a wood burning fireplace. The two-car garage also has a workbench and all the tools you need to do projects. There is also a patio out back with a fire pit, and a nice yard with mature trees. There are good walking/biking/running trails nearby that connect to all of Westerville and around Hoover Reservoir.

WHO YOU WOULD BE LIVING WITH:

College educated co-ed professionals. Some travel extensively and are home only once a week.

The house will be in the German Village area (and yes, you get a say in choosing it!). I'm looking to keep each of our rent amounts under $400, so I've been looking at places under $800 obviously.
