The Buckeye Corner, a local specialty retailer, is currently seeking a highly motivated, highly energetic store manager for one of our 4 locations.

The store manager is responsible for planning and directing the day-to-day operations of his/her store. The ideal candidate will be able to develop strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. The store manager is also responsible for ensuring that customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient. The individual in this role is responsible for ensuring all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability. The ideal candidate will foster good working relationships with all associates by addressing their concerns and adhering to all policies and procedures in a consistent manner.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years experience in retail management and 3-5 years in apparel management. A four year degree is preferred, but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The ideal candidate will be able to lead and motivate their team. The Store Manager must have strong organizational skills, be detailed oriented and be proficient in all Microsoft office products. This position requires an individual to stand for extended periods and to occasionally grasp, lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. The manager must be able to work Sunday through Saturday including varied hours and days.
