Reagan inherited the utter MESS from Carter and took YEARS to fix…And yes your dear Messiah and his side kick did state in several speeches that the “stimulus” would keep the unemployment below 8.5%. Only months after did your dear Messiah and his cronies realize that it was all an utter lie did they switch the forecast and begin the “we may not see any results from the stimulus for months”. BS. The stimulus was nothing more than a way to get money into the hands of Obamas donors and supporters. Notice that all the money given to all the banks and wall street has not found it’s was back into the populations businesses
