If that's your idea of "good news", then may I wish you plenty of similar "good news" in the future. Your valiant attempt at spinning good news out of bad notwithstanding, allow me to disagree with your conclusions. Two governor races, democrats lose both. Blown away in a landslide in one race, and in the other one a GOP'er beats a millionaire incumbent in a heavily democrat, overtaxed state despite having the President of the United States make 3 appearances on the democrat's behalf. Two races, two losses.
As for NY 23rd district race, it took both the democrat candidate AND the endorsement of the GOP candidate to narrowly defeat an unknown accountant. Well done! You really showed those teabaggers, didn't you! Ever hear of winning the battle but losing the war? You're bragging as though you beat a cripple in a footrace. Your boy should have won with 90% of the vote. Instead you squeaked by with a win. Does the phrase "the writing on the wall" mean anything to you?
