We are a small vintage clothing company with high volume online sales. Everything from graphic design, to photography to styling is done in house.
Viable candidates will have a vested interest in fashion photography and the fashion industry. Candidates should have (or be working on ) a degree in a photography related field. Should have completed courses in digital photography, studio lighting and basic Photoshop/Lightroom retouching. Please respond with your resume and a sampling of your work. This is an entrepreneurial adventure that will require all the aforementioned qualities, determination, and an investment of time, effort, and creative energy - and an official rallying of Designers that give a damn and want an opportunity and place to construct and retail design in all its forms made entirely from recycled and salvaged materials.
The designers we have in mind are versatile, people friendly, capable of independent cognition, work well in groups, are outspoken, don't back down, have big ideas, and most importantly – are passionate about their work.

- Strong skills using design and business software – works quickly and efficiently in these programs and can get up to speed on new software quickly:
- Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Freehand, Adobe Photoshop
- HTML editor, Dreamweaver or compatible
The qualifications are simple: be a positive person, show up when we ask you to(no weird schedule, we are flexible) and know how to screen print.
We have a huge automated screen printer where all you have to do is press a button, it prints 2-3 coroplast signs at once. I need someone who understands every aspect of screen printing.
We plan on compensating you well. We are growing and at some point will hire another individual. At that time you will be promoted. I'd like to see your role expand into sales and account management, if that is something we all mutually feel you could do a good job at.

illustration style (e.g. - similar to Jae Lee's work in Stephen King's
The Dark Tower series), and the rendering style should be black &
white ink and hand-drawn (clean pencil drawings ready to be inked will
also be considered). Use reference photographs as much as possible.

PANEL ONE: A pirate ship on calm water. The horizon and the full moon
are in the distance. The ship's flag is wafting limply in the scarce
breeze and the ship's sails are up and bundled.
PANEL TWO: On deck, a woman (long hair, pleasant features) attacks a
thug (pudgy nose and nearly bald, this man has seen abuse). She holds
a primitive knife (the handle wrapped in cloth) to the villain's neck,
though the man doesn't seem to notice. A small trail of blood leaks
from the blade. Both of these people dress in a clothing style that
reaches back to the 15th century, with the woman in a ratty sleeping
dress and the man in a ragged shirt and stained pants. No shoes on
either. Both facial features are angered, since neither are having a
very good day on the open ocean.
