I currently have one full-time nanny position, nanny share, Monday through Friday from 7:30a to 4p for three boys whose current ages are 3, 20 months, and 16 months. Unfortunately the family of the 20 month old has moved and put in their 2 weeks notice. I am seeking another child around age 1 or older. I do not, nor have I ever, smoked and I do not drink. The home of the current family is smoke and pet free. Here is the criterion which has been established and you must be willing to cooperate with all currently set standards:

• You must need care between the hours of 7:30a and 4p. If you are located between my home (located near the intersection of Cleveland Ave & Weber Rd) and the home of the current family I would be willing to pick up your child on my way to work around 7:15a and drop off afterwards around 4:30p. If you are out of my driving distance you must be able to bring your child to the current family’s home located in Hilliard right off the Wilson Rd exit off I-70.

• You must be comfortable supplying food for your child which will be kept separate from current family’s food. You may bring food daily or weekly whichever works best for you.

• You must be willing to supply me with an extra car seat and pack n’ play to keep at current family’s home. You will also need to have an extra set of clothes, as well as diapers and wipes each day. You may bring a bag each day or leave the items at the home of the current family whichever works best for you.

• You must feel comfortable with me transporting your child.

• You must feel comfortable with your child having an afternoon nap. During nap times is when I am able to eat lunch, clean up from the day, and do designated household chores as indicated in the current family’s contract.

• You must feel comfortable signing a contract that includes things such as paid holiday’s, one week’s half pay vacation per calendar year, half pay when you decide not to bring your child to care, etc. You may of course negotiate some things that are in the contract.

• You may choose to pay me when you get paid or whenever is convenient for you, but it must be a minimum of every two weeks.

• Rate is $175 per week. You will receive excellent care at a low cost and with a low ratio. Should you need part time hours we would be able to negotiate that as well.

• You must be comfortable with paying the first 2 weeks up front.

• You must be comfortable with a 2 week probationary period. My current children are well behaved and have good manners. They are not moody and they have an overall good temperament. I am looking for someone to fit in with them even if it takes awhile to find that special child. I want the fit to be just right.

• You must feel comfortable meeting with me at the home of the parents preferably during nap times. If you decide you like the home, location, and me, you must then feel comfortable meeting with the current family.

• Diapers are changed a minimum of every two hours unless they are napping longer than 2 hours. I also change smelly diapers immediately upon noticing it needs changed. This includes if your child wakes up in the middle of the nap and needs a change.

• Nap time is required and my current children go down for a nap with no problem and sleep a minimum of 2 hours. The child I am seeking will fit this into this current sleep schedule.

Here is our current schedule:
7:30a – Arrival time
8:00a – Breakfast
8:30a to 9:30a – Free play which includes puzzles, reading, music, toys, coloring, and creative learning
9:30a – Diaper time and getting ready to go out for a daily activity
10a – Snack time
10:15a – Daily activity which can include library time, park, walking, playing outside, indoor play places, and more
11a – We may be out at this time, but if we are home we watch Sesame Street at this time.
11:30a – Diaper time
12p – Lunch
12:30p – Clean up time
12:45p -- Nap
2:30p to 3:45p – Children wake up at different times daily and a diaper change and snack is given after their nap. Any extra time until the end of the day is filled with books or music.

Schedule is subject to change. I generally don’t go out if it is rainy or very cold. Each child has their off days and I rearrange the schedule accordingly.

I am 22 years old and attend night classes at Columbus State Community College for Early Childhood Development and Human Resource Management. I believe that being on the path to obtaining these two degrees is one of the reasons that I am successful in caring for children. I consider child care different from baby-sitting. I interact with the children, and I will help them express their creative side by providing hands-on activities. I enjoy activities such as coloring, playing outside, and using toys to aid in learning. I will help with potty training and learning the alphabet, numbers, colors, etc.

I have been caring for children since I was 12 years old. I have an 8-year-old step-daughter who I have helped raise since she was age 3. I do have extensive experience and can provide excellent references and a background check from Care.com. I am adult/child/infant CPR/AED and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross. I am also certified in Child Care First Aid, Communicable Diseases, and Child Abuse through Columbus State.

Now, there are downsides, so in the interest of not wasting your time should any of them be a problem, let's get them out of the way:
*I live in an apartment. Obviously, I don't see that as a problem, but you know....some folks do. It's ranch-style, with a private patio and entrance, enough room inside to play and get crafty (we do that a lot around here), and a large yard for your child to play.

*We have cats. Two of them. Now cats aren't a downside, unless, of course, your child has allergies. That would be bad. But we're a non-smoking household, so we've got that going for us.

*I would not be available on Mondays from 9am-1pm. I have a part time job that I work from home, but I have regular Monday meetings out of the home. However, since I make my own schedule, this job will in no way interfere with the care of your child outside of this weekly unavailability. I also have a volunteering commitment on the first, third and fifth Saturdays of each month from 10am-1pm. Once your children are more comfortable with me, they are more than welcome to accompany me with your permission, but until that time, let's add that to the unavailable column.

*Although I've sat many times over the years for friends and family, I've not had formal babysitting "job" experience since I was a teenager. However, I can provide references and have a four year old daughter who is happy and healthy, and living proof that I can hold my own with a child. I do know CPR and first aid, and am in the process of becoming certified for both.

This was Oct. 17th. My weekend group ( on child was absent, wish he was there) , went to the pumpkin patch. We picked out pumpkins for the children to have carved. Later on duringt the week we will be painting smaller pumpkins. We seen animals and played in hay. We all had a blast!

Oct 30th We went to Cosi, the kids loved the ocean and the rockets. I am a SAHM for my son who is 2. I was previously a dental assistant but I have been out of the work force since having my son who was born with a heart defect and had to have surgery and lots of therapy. He is fine now and needs no more surgeries and currently is in early childhood development for speech and sensory issues. He goes M-W-F in the afternoons. I would like a playmate or two for him and to also bring in a little income as well. I tried to get back to dental assisting but due to the economy; it no longer has the benefits it once offered.
I also have a 12 year old daughter who has lived with her father in Florida since my son was born. Due to my son’s medical needs, she moved in with her father so she could get the attention she needed.
When my daughter was born, I provided childcare till she was about 4 years old. So I am experienced and I am CPR certified. I only want to stick with one family who has maybe one or two children. My boyfriend is a truck driver and is gone most of the time, so my schedule is open to yours. I can provide childcare in my home or yours depending on how far you live. I live in the Cabot Cove apartments off Rome-Hilliard Rd just south of Roberts Rd.
I come from a good family and we are well educated and I can offer many references and I have pictures of us if you are interested, I can email a couple.

I am a childcare professional with 11 years experience.. Twice I have provided full time childcare for newborn twins from 6 weeks old. My experience goes through age 7.



Some activities I like are taking the children to parks, libraries, the zoo, the aquarium, and the children's museum. During the day I stress learning manners and good behaviors. Then there is the always fun playtime! I find fun activities to do that teach your children the different skills they need including large and fine motor. I also believe by spending lots of time reading at an early age children will develop a love of reading that will help them through out life.
