I am looking for a single family home/condo/townhome (absolutely no flat or garden apartments - they just do not have enough space, no matter how "spacious" they are) for rent beginning between Feb. 15 and March 1, 2010. I have been living in Columbus since 2001, bouncing from apartment community to apartment community, all of which were full of mostly college-aged residents, and I am now craving space and more adult accommodations. My ideal place would be 2 bedroom, 1.5-2 bath, fenced yard or patio, larger kitchen, and in a lower-crime area of town. I am open to most areas, as long as they are within 10 minutes of the 270 belt. I do have 2 Siberian Huskies, and am more than willing to pay an additional pet deposit. The MAXIMUM I can spend per month is $1000. I have never been late on a single rent payment in my life. I have never damaged any home I have ever lived in. I am willing to do yardwork/small upkeep, but major repairs should still be the owner's responsibility.
