NCiM - a national marketing company with a local presence that specializes in retail store product demonstrations is looking for part-time weekend demonstrators to sample out national brand products to consumers in local grocery stores. If you enjoy working with the public and would love some extra cash while having fun, this is for you!

The position:

Product demonstrators work in grocery stores close to their homes. The duties include distributing product samples to consumers and informing them about the product and the promotion that the manufacturer or retailer is conducting. Demonstrators are an integral part of our clients’ marketing efforts and often complement national ad campaigns and/or promotions. There is a wide variety of product types and brands that the demonstrator has the opportunity to work with when doing demonstrations.



What we offer:

Your status with us would be as an Independent Contractor. Our Independent Contractors enjoy:

Minimum of $54 per event - we pay daily, and do not take taxes
Worker's Comp and General Liability insurance provided
Flexible weekend shifts with no nights! You only work the days you schedule to work. The shifts are 6 hours with a 30 minute paid break; hours are usually 11-5 and the days available to work are Fri, Sat & Sun.

Requirements for Professional Product Demonstrating:

Must be 18 years of age
Must have dependable transportation
Must have a professional demeanor
Must have internet access and valid email
Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly

Imagine yourself in the middle of a boring week, arriving to a festive restaurant / bar to organize the weekly round of Euchre. You are the facilitator. You pass out the tournament schedule and playing cards on the tables in the reserved party room, and order a drink and basket of wings. Several people arrive early, sit at the bar and watch the flat screen and chat about life and work. Before the 7:30 start time, all 34 participants are ready to go. Each two-person team plays three games at different tables, playing 3 different teams, and keeping their scores to turn in at the end of the night (9 pm).

This is a social group, a networking activity, a night of friendly competition, of testing your luck with the cards, of eating good food, and getting away from the home life for a mini-vacation in the middle of the work week. Best of all, you can play too, and at no charge. The "tourney" lasts 2 months, and then starts up again after a couple of weeks off...year round.

Fliers, emails, Internet advertising....will be used to promote this and bring in players, but the person in charge of driving the membership up is you. That is why I need you. I am looking for someone who can bring in at least 34 people in a south or southeastern community (Pickerington, Canal Winchester, Lancaster, Reynoldsburg, Groveport.....). If you are involved in a large church, or an association of some sort where you can quickly bring in a dozen or more people, that is what we are looking for. The Euchre activities will be promoted on a PROFESSIONALLY-DESIGNED website, which will include team standings, sign-up and pay online features, and an announcements board.

WHAT YOU GET: Mainly, you get to participate. I will give you 40% of all the receipts, and you will choose one charity/cause to give 40% of the receipts to. I get 20% to purchase the playing cards, printing costs, to host the website, and other related expenses.
