Transmap, a progressive GIS Consulting firm, is looking for reliable people with clean driving records to support an ongoing field GIS data collection project in the Columbus area for a month beginning August 31st. This will be a temporary/internship position with no benefits. Transmap will be operating 2 shifts (7am – 1pm or 2pm – 8pm) seven days a week until the end of September. Only candidates who are able to work at least 5-6 shifts a week will be considered (30-36 hours). The pay rate for this temporary position will be $10.00 per hour.
Required:
1. Ability to operate a Transmap provided vehicle
2. Clean driving record (will be verified)
3. Comfortable operating a laptop
4. Reliable
5. Strong attention to detail
Preferred:
1. ArcGIS Desktop experience
2. Microsoft Access experience
3. Local knowledge of the Columbus area
