nestmonger, a new online magazine, is accepting submissions.

nestmonger is a multimedia diy home journal offering instruction on the accomplishment of menial tasks, impossible feats, and all things in between. nestmonger wants to make life more peculiar, practical, bearable, and less habitual. submissions are accepted in all forms—poetry, prose, essays, open letters, photography, short films, songs, song lyrics, advice, building plans, paintings, screenplays, recipes, manifestos, cartoons, herbal remedies, diagrams, collages, cautionary tales, etc.,—may address any aspect of life, and need not be remotely factual.

submissions can be very small in scope. for instance, a simple diagram on how to tie a perfect slipknot, or sandwich-assembly instructions, would be right at home. or they can be infeasible (ex.—perpetual motion machine guide?). i’m also especially interested in hearing about common household items used in unconventional ways.
