Hi, My name is Hanif, and I a dear friend of mine opened a coffee shop (Travonna Coffee House) in the short north, next to Milk Bar. It has been going well, and he asked me to set up a night for a poetry reading. Well, I know a lot of writers, as I am one myself, but everyone seems a bit apprehensive about reading their work in front of people. I'd like people that are not afraid to do this. I am hosting the first reading this upcoming Wednesday (Tomorrow), from 7 to 9 p.m., and would love you if you write, or perform poetry, lyrics, or music. It's going to be a fun, creative, and laid back environment, that I think everyone will really dig. If you are a musician, that's great too, as I believe that there will be some slight instruments around.

If you've never performed before, that's fine as well, this is going to be a good environment to get first exposure, and really just be with like minded creative folk.
